Overview

The Elco Lighting EL1499ICA is a 4" new construction housing designed for low-voltage recessed lighting applications. It features a double-wall, airtight construction suitable for direct contact with insulation (IC-rated). This housing is equipped with a magnetic transformer and is compatible with 12V MR16 GU/GX5.3 bi-pin lamps. Ideal for both residential and commercial installations requiring energy efficiency and compliance with building codes.

EL1499ICA Magnetic Transformer recommended for use with 20W-50W lamps only.
EL1499ICEA Electronic Transformer recommended for use with 3W-50W LED or Halogen Lamps.

  • Note: Use only dimmers specifically designed for use with magnetic transformers. Low voltage luminaires may produce audible sound when used with dimmers.
